MVP
Every match is scored out of 1000 on its own. A player is measured against their own team and the opposition that day, so a good game in a low-scoring match counts as much as one in a high-scoring match.
Batting — up to 450
- Share of the runs: 250 points split between the batters by how many of the team's runs each one scored. Score half your team's runs and you get half of it. Extras are left out, so the shares add up to the whole.
- Scoring rate: up to 200 points for scoring faster than your own team did in that innings. Matching the team rate earns about half; going well beyond it earns the lot.
- A batter who faces fewer than 5 balls gets only part of the rate points — a four off the only ball you face is not a fast innings, it is one ball.
Bowling — up to 450
- Economy: up to 250 points for going at fewer runs an over than the opposition scored overall. Going at their rate earns about 125; going at half their rate earns the maximum. Bowl a wicket maiden and you get the maximum outright.

Wickets: 50 points each, up to 150 points — so wickets stop adding after 3.Taking 3 or more wickets adds 50 points once, however many more fall.A bowler who sends down less than a full over gets only part of the economy points, since one tidy ball is not a spell.Fielding — up to 100
- 10 points a catch, 10 points a stumping, 20 points a run-out.
- A catch off your own bowling counts twice over: the wicket and the catch.
Across a season
A season figure is the average of a player's matches, not the total. Missing a week costs nothing; playing badly does.
- Only wickets cricket credits to the bowler count. A run-out is worth fielding points and nothing to the bowler.
- Overs are counted in real balls, so a competition playing five-ball overs is scored on five-ball overs.
- A fielding point needs the fielder to have been recorded on the dismissal. Older matches often were not, so their fielding shows as zero.
2-minute innings break.
